The Campus Recreation Department strives to meet the dynamic needs and interests of students by providing programs and services that promote positive physical and mental health, encourage lifetime interest in active, healthy lifestyles and provide student leadership opportunities that compliment the academic experience. Student Activities & Events
Student Activites & Events (SAE) is an integral campus resource for leadership development opportunities, major programs, and events. We support SF State students, faculty, and staff by providing leadership opportunities, student organization resources, and event coordination and consultation.
Student Activities & Events facilitates transformative learning and student engagement by developing strong leaders and conscientious citizens within SF State's diverse community and beyond.
Dream Resource Center
The Dream Resource Center provides support and advocacy to our undocumented student population, including those who may or may not qualify for AB 540. We are currently located in Mary Park Hall and we offer resrouces and support to current and incoming undocumented students or students with mixed status families. The Dream Resources Center prides itself on providing a space where students academic and personal goals can be realized. The Center hosts interactive workshops and programs aimed at addressing multicultural/multiethnic identities, and holistic wellness of our students. SF State has a strong network of campus and community members commtted to helping AB 540 and undocumented students achieve academic success.
Office of Student Conduct
The Office of Student Conduct supports the University’s educational purpose and goals set forth by interpreting and enforcing standards of student conduct, related policies and procedures. The Office of Student Conduct strives to facilitate student learning and ethical growth and development in connection with the disciplinary process, promotes academic integrity and responsible conduct through outreach, conduct outcomes, and education; and works [together with other campus constituents] to maintain a safe and orderly campus environment.
Residential Life is committed to providing an on-campus residential experience which complements the overall mission of San Francisco State University and the Division of Student Affairs, promotes a sense of community, and enhances student learning beyond the classroom. By collaborating with faculty, staff, and student leaders, we provide opportunities for ongoing education that is academically, socially, and intellectually focused. In partnership with our residents, Residential Life establishes and maintains a living and learning environment where members of the community are respected and valued, and are actively involved in shaping their residential community.
Associated Students, Inc.
Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI), the student government at San Francisco State University, serves as the official voice of students. ASI promotes an enriched co-curricular student life experience and is dedicated to the empowerment of SF State's diverse student body through a commitment to social justice and shared governance. ASI provides and supports services and programs, maintains fiduciary responsibility, and engages in campus-wide collaborations and external advocacy efforts.
