The following is a timeline of key milestones in the Mashouf Wellness Center project.
 

2008 Associated Students hire consultants to conduct a preliminary study on feasibility and needs assessment for a recreation-wellness center on campus. Results show strong interest and support for such a facility.
2010 Students approve a Recreation-Wellness Center to be built on campus; campus administration supports the proposed project concept, giving it the green light to move forward.
2011 WRNS Studio, architects for the project, begin the design process for the facility to be located at Lot 25, on Winston Drive.
2012 CW Driver named Construction Manager At-Risk for the project.
2013 A new and better location is proposed for the building; a semester-long consultation process takes place, and the new site is approved at Font Blvd and Lake Merced Blvd. Design for the new location starts.
2014 Design continues and approvals occur for building to be named after Manny Mashouf.
2015 2015 Design phase concludes and groundbreaking for the Mashouf Wellness Center occurs.
2016-17 Planning and preparation for the Mashouf Wellness Center scheduled to continue through Advisory Assembly and Sub-Assemblies.
2017 Mashouf Wellness Center is scheduled to open.
