Participate in SF Pride Parade with us, Sunday, June 30th, 2019!
Join the SF State parade contingent as students, faculty/staff, alumni, family, and friends march in the SF Pride Parade, the largest LGBT gathering in the nation. The Parade kicks off the last full weekend in June at Market & Beale and ends at Market & 8th in downtown San Francisco. There is no cost to participate, but we ask participants to register a week before the parade, and all participants must find their own transportation to and from the parade. The exact meeting location of the SF State parade contingent will be assigned in mid-June and communicated out to participants who register with us.
For accomodations for this event please email Pride Parade Planning Committee Co-Chair, Jamal Mazyck at firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, June 10th.

Pride Parade 2018
We encourage the campus community to participate in preparation of the SF State parade float. Designers and builders will be needed to work on the float ahead of time. Others will be needed to help assemble the float the day before and morning of the parade. If you are interested in helping with building the SF State parade float, please indicate that on your registration form. You do not have to sign up to participate in the day of the parade in order to help build the float.
Each parade contingent is required to have an assigned number of trained Contingent Monitors. These persons within our contingent are designated to help with safety and to keep the group moving along the parade route. We encourage you to volunteer to be a Contingent Monitor by indicating that on your registration form, and we will confirm Contingent Monitors so that we can organize your training.
Release of Liability/Assumption of Risk form
Each participant and volunteer associated with the SF State parade contingent will be required to complete a release of liability/assumption of risk form and submit it prior to participation. To expedite your check-in the morning of the parade, please print and sign a copy of the form and bring it with you to the parade meeting location. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature on their form to participate.
