Food+Shelter+Success is committed to supporting student basic needs during the University's COVID-19 precautions. This two-page document covers a number of items, including: unemployment benefits, healthcare, CalFresh, and utility assistancem and was put together by the John Burton Advocates for Youth (JBAY).
On campus housing for students remains open for students who have no alternative housing. However, services will be sharply curtailed and students who remain can expect that they will be moved to another building as the University continues to respond to this evolving situation. For the most recent updates, check the Advisories section of the University’s COVID-19 page.
Students who have alternative housing should make plans to leave as soon as possible. While there is no need to take all your belongings, students should take essential items with them. We will arrange later this semester to ensure that you get your belongings when circumstances allow.

Students may continue to work with their supervisor's approval and if their work can be done remotely. Students who cannot work remotely may be eligible for Temporary Paid Administrative Leave.
