On Campus
College campuses should be places where differing opinions, ideas, and world views can be discussed, debated, and researched. At times, differing views can create both external and internal conflicts. Regardless of the topic or issue, situations may occur where points of view conflict with personal values, principles, or philosophies.
Not everyone may wish to engage in debates.
Not everyone may wish to demonstrate.
Everyone may show disagreement or solidarity in diverse ways.
The University has resources for support during challenging times, to connect with a community and find shared values, and utilizing offices and services to better understand oneself, understand our campus, or learn more about the issues related to freedom of expression, diverse viewpoints, and how to be a successful college student.
