Residential Life offers exciting opportunities to get involved in the community that you live in. Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the governing body for the residential community and sponsors numerous educational and social activities and programs. Some of the programs that RHA has sponsored include the Holiday Extravaganza Party, Manicure For A Cure, Jell-O Days.
RHA is the central coordinating group for Residence Hall Councils as well as student run clubs. RHA provides a variety of services to students on the individual level that aid students in their overall development and growth. On a larger scale, RHA is a member of the Pacific Association of College and University Residence Halls (PACURH), as well as the National Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH) - both are organizations that govern student groups and create legislation to help student-led groups to perform successfully on an institutional level.
One of the main purposes of RHA is to represent the views of the students to Residential Life, Associated Students Incorporated, and other offices around campus. It also connects the students to University administrators. RHA uses these resources and connections to communicate the concerns of the students and to enhance the experience of living on campus.
How to Get Involved?
Everyone who lives on campus, regardless of whether or not they are involved in a student organization, is a member of RHA and is welcome and encouraged to participate in events in the community and attend regularly held RHA meetings.
